Children's Sunday School

Mission Statement

 

The overall aim of Sunday School is to inspire and engage all who attend our classes, of every age, to develop a deeper understanding of the Word of God. Through this, individuals are encouraged to grow in their faith or surrender their lives to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

 

We believe that faith should be demonstrated through action both within and outside the church. Our goal is to develop dedicated followers of Christ who are equipped to serve in accordance with the Great Commission and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Our lessons focus on life application and spiritual transformation.

Children’s Sunday School takes place on Sunday mornings from 10:00am to 12:30pm for children aged 3 to 16 years.

 

Transport may be arranged for children to be collected from and returned home.

 The session begins with 10 minutes of prayer and worship, followed by approximately 45 minutes of class study using the Mustard Seed Curriculum, which covers a wide range of biblical topics.

 

Teaching methods include:

• Bible reading

• Worksheets

• Quizzes

• Games and activities

• Colouring and creative learning for younger children

 

Youth Fellowship Opportunities

 

Sunday School students also have the opportunity to attend the Annual Youth Convention, where they can build friendships and relationships with children from regional and national churches.

We strongly believe that our children are the future of both the church and the wider community. For this reason, we are committed to investing in them through discipleship, mentoring, and practical experience.

 Children are given opportunities to participate in church life, including worship, scripture reading, and other ministry activities, helping them grow in confidence and faith.
